Beef & Broccoli
Ingredients:
- 1 Lb Flank Steak, Sliced Into Thin Strips
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 Teaspoon Grated Ginger
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1/3 Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 Cup Beef Broth
- 1 Lb Broccoli Florets, Cut (about 4 Cups)
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (adjust according to taste)
- Sesame Seeds (Optional)
- Cooked Rice (For Serving)
Instructions:
- Season Steak with Salt and Pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over Medium High Heat. Sear until the steak is cooked through. Remove the steak from pan and set aside.
- Add a bit more oil. Add Garlic and Ginger and cook until soft.
- Add Sesame Oil, Soy Sauce, Honey and Broth. Stir to combine.
- Add Chopped Broccoli.
- In a bowl, combine Cornstarch and Water. Add to the broccoli. Raise heat to a Boil until sauce has reached a thick consistency.
- Return Steak back to the pan.
- Serve over Cooked Rice and Enjoy!
