Stocking Solanus Casey Food Pantry

Stuff the Bus New Bedford would not be possible without the help and support of volunteers from many community organizations.  Although we are unable to hold the event in our traditional way it is important to continue support the food pantry.  Collecting started at the beginning of October.  Food donation bins are located at the front of the store. Any one item helps.

Prior to 2020...

 A bus provided by Tremblay’s Bus Company would be parked at Trucchi’s Supermarkets, located at 2941 Acushnet Avenue, Saturday & Sunday prior to Thanksgiving.

Volunteers from Bishop Stang High School NHS, Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School NHS, Bristol County Savings Bank, and Taunton Federal Credit Union were on site to collect donations of food, money and gift cards. Volunteers were tasked with sorting donations before they made their way to Solanus Casey Food Pantry facility located at 238 Bonney St. The Solanus Casey Food Pantry is located in New Bedford, Massachusetts and serves residents on the Southcoast, Massachusetts, including Bristol county.  Solanus is also the recipient of CAN Hunger! donations made at the New Bedford Trucchi's.
