DIY: Seasoning Dispenser
Recycle an empty container of Salt and make your own mason jar with a spout! A great way to store your own special seasonings. This could come in handy for arts and crafts as well.
What You Need:
- 1 Empty Salt Cylinder with Spout
- Exacto Knife and Scissors
- Mason Jar (with cover)
- BBQ Rub or Seasoning
Step 1:
Carefully cut the top portion of the Salt Container with an Exacto Knife. Be sure to cut in the shape of a circle because this is going to replace the lid of your Mason Jar.
Step 2:
Remove the lid and rim from your Mason Jar. Replace with your new lid you just cut out. Using your scissors, cut around the circumference of the jar so that it fits properly. Note: We flipped the jar over keeping the new lid from the salt container on. Then used a pen to draw around the jar so we knew where to cut.
Step 3:
Take the rim and screw it over the jar tightly to secure the lid.
Step 4:
You can fill your Dispenser with pretty much anything. We love filling it with our own BBQ Rub. Its great for storing it and the spout is perfect for seasoning your meats.
