The North Abington store was originally a First National store, which William purchased in 1975.

William ended his speech celebrating Trucchi's 50th Anniversary by saying "Finally, Abington, will it be the last? Well, I'm not so sure. I'm a dreamer."

Abington was not the last.

William passed in 1982, at the age of 69. His dreams, dexterity and hard work paved the way for the next generation to continue in his footsteps. Two more store locations would be built, along with many renovations.
