"Wow, I Can't Believe They're Box" Vanilla Cupcakes
Ingredients
- Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
- Betty Crocker Rich and Creamy Vanilla Frosting
- 1 cup Milk, plus 3 tbsp
- 1/3 cup Butter, melted
- 3 Eggs
- Cupcake Wrappers
- Raspberries, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Disregard Box instructions for desired ingredients--by substituting Milk for Water and Butter for Oil, the cake will turn out richer.
- Mix Cake Mix with Milk, Butter, and Eggs with a mixer on medium speed or vigorously by hand for 4-5 minutes. Make sure the batter is well combined and that air is incorporated.
- Prepare cupcake tin with cupcake wrappers, and pour batter into each wrapper. There should be enough batter for 24 cupcakes.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Take Vanilla frosting out of its container, and whip vigorously with a whisk or a mixer. Add up to 3 tbsp of milk to loosen and add air to frosting.
- Transfer frosting to a piping bag and decorate cupcakes once cooled. Top with a raspberry.
