Taunton: Stuff The Bus
We still need to "Stuff The Bus"
Greater Taunton Charitable Association is unable to host Stuff the Bus this year. A network of community organizations in Taunton are working together to provide some semblance of the program during November 2020. Collecting started at the beginning of October. Organizations that received food boxes were also contacted in October.
The organizations that have stepped up this year look forward to a time the event will resume being hosted by Greater Taunton Charitable Association. Stuff the Bus normally brings so many citizens together showcasing what’s best about the great city of Taunton, its community.

Prior to 2020...
Buses provided by H & L Bloom Bus Co. are parked at Trucchi’s Supermarkets, located at 53 Tremont Street and 534 County Street the weekend prior to Thanksgiving.
Volunteers from Greater Taunton Charitable Association (GTCA) and many local organizations are on hand to collect donations of food, money and gift cards. Volunteers normally sort donations before they make their way to GTCA’s facility. Once the food arrives at GTCA facility volunteers assemble collected items for distribution.
"STUFF THE BUS" Taunton would not be possible without the help and support of volunteers from the following community organizations: Greater Taunton Charitable Association, H & L Bloom Bus, Taunton Police Department, Bristol Plymouth HS, Coyle & Cassidy NHS, Taunton HS AF JROTC, Somerset-Berkley Regional HS, Girls Incorporated of Taunton, local Girl Scouts and Boys Scout Troops and Taunton Federal Credit Union.
