Here at Trucchi’s we want to see every kid be able to wake up from a gift from Santa on Christmas day. We have partnered with Citizens for Citizens to help collect and distribute your donations in time for children to receive toys on Christmas Day. This happens with many, many donations, fundraising efforts and volunteers. Joyful memories of the holidays, spending time with the entire family and wrapping (or unwrapping) those gifts are something we want everyone to experience.

The holidays should never be about material things. Gifts should come from the heart. Your donations truly come from the heart. Each and every toy donated makes a difference not only to the child who receives it but to the child’s relative who is now able to give the gift. To a parent or grandparent seeing their little ones face instantly light up on Christmas morning is the most precious gift there is.

For over a decade now, Trucchi’s customers and employees have been showing their holiday spirit by making donations for local families through the Help Us Help Kids Toy Drive. Continuing that tradition, we will feature toy and gift collection bins at each of our store locations now through December 24. Help make a difference in the lives of local families this holiday season.

The toys should be new and unwrapped. Also, we welcome new hats, gloves, mittens and scarves. Sweaters and coats will not be refused. Try to make your donations early, for as soon as the bins start to fill we start sending toys out for distribution.

Your toy donations are received and distributed by local organizations assisting families within our communities:

– Citizens For Citizens (County St. Taunton, Tremont St. Taunton & West Bridgewater)

– St. Vincent De Paul (Abington and Middleboro)

– Schwartz Rehabilitation Center & State Police Troop D (New Bedford)
