Crock Pot Cheesy Ziti
Recipe Type: Crock Pot Dinner
  • 2 Jars of Pasta Sauce
  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Lb Uncooked Penne
  • 15 oz Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ Cup Fresh Chopped Basil
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • ½ Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Cups Grated Parmesan Cheese (or Shredded)
  • ½ Cup Grated Asiago
  1. Combine the 2 Jars Pasta Sauce and Tomato Sauce together in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the Ricotta Cheese, Eggs, Fresh Basil, Minced Garlic and Red Pepper Flakes.
  3. Grease the inside of the Crock Pot.
  4. Add about 2⅓ Cups of the Pasta Sauce Mix to the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  5. Add ⅓ of the Uncooked Pasta on top of the sauce.
  6. Add half of the Ricotta Mixture on top of the Pasta and evenly spread it out.
  7. Sprinkle on half of the Parmesan Cheese.
  8. Add another layer of the Pasta Sauce, Pasta, Ricotta and Parmesan Cheese.
  9. Top with the rest of the Pasta, then the remaining Sauce.
  10. Cover the Crock Pot. Cook on High for 2.5 to 3 Hours.
  11. Sprinkle on the Asiago Cheese and let it melt in the Crock Pot before serving.
