Simple Thanksgiving Stuffing
  • 1 loaf of bread of your choice
  • ½ Cup of Butter
  • 1 White Onion
  • 2 Celery Stocks
  • ½ Cup Parsley
  • 2 Tablespoons Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Thyme
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Chicken Stock
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees.
  2. Break the loaf of bread into 1 inch cubes.
  3. Spread the bread onto a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until dry. Stir occasionally.
  4. Finely dice the onion and celery.
  5. In a saucepan, combine the onion, celery and seasonings. Saute until soft.
  6. Place the bread and onion mixture into a mixing bowl. Combine until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine the 2 eggs and chicken stock.
  8. Combine the ingredients of both mixing bowls.
  9. Butter a baking dish.
  10. Add the stuffing to the baking dish.
  11. For the first 40 minutes of baking, cover the dish with foil. After 40 minutes, remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
