Asparagus Sticks
Recipe Type: Appetizer
  • 2 Lbs All Green Asparagus
  • ½ Lb Imported Prosciutto Di Parma, Cut into 6 x 1 inch strips
  • ½ Container of Pub Cheese Spread
  • Marie's Caesar Dressing, For Serving
  1. Blanch Asparagus by boiling in water for a few minutes until asparagus becomes bright green. Immediately remove from the pot using a slotted spoon. Have a bowl of iced water prepared to place the asparagus in. Pat the asparagus dry and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  2. When the asparagus has chilled, lay out the strips of Prosciutto. Spread a layer of cheese along each piece. Wrap the prosciutto around the asparagus tightly, making sure the side with the cheese is going against the asparagus, so it will stick together.
  3. Arrange them in a decorated bowl or jar. Serve with a side of Caesar Dressing.
